According to the most recent data issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) on Tuesday, gold prices in Pakistan surged for a second day, riding the tide of a global rebound as the yellow metal gained impetus on safe-haven demand.
While 10-gramme gold rose Rs4,115 to settle at Rs262,602, the prices per tola (11.7 grammes) rose Rs4,800 to Rs306,300. In the meantime, 22-karat gold gained Rs3,772 and reached Rs240,727 per 10 grammes.
According to the organization, silver also joined the rise, with prices rising by Rs45 to Rs3,315 per tola and by Rs39 to Rs2,842 per 10-gramme.
Due to safe-haven buying, gold prices continued to rise on the global stage on Tuesday.
