In Pakistan, gold prices increased Tuesday. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24 carat gold per tola increased by Rs700, from Rs274,500 to Rs275,200.
Ten grams of 24-karat gold also increased in price by Rs600, from Rs235,340 to Rs235,940. Ten grams of 22-karat gold also became more expensive, going from Rs 215,728 to Rs 216,278.
The price of silver stayed the same as Rs 3,400 per tola and Rs 2,914.95 for 10 grams.
Globally, the price of gold rose from $2,633 to $2,640, a $7 gain.
