For the second day in a row, Pakistani gold prices rose, propelled by changes in the world market and economic concern.
The price of gold per ounce reportedly increased by $1 on the global bullion market, reaching a record high of $2,904.
Local sarafa markets also saw a jump, with 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs100 to reach an all-time high of Rs303,100.
Similarly, 10 grams of gold now cost Rs259,859, an increase of Rs86.
The price of silver, meanwhile, went the other way. The price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs52 to Rs2,839, while the price of silver per tola fell by Rs61 to Rs3,312.
