The price per tola of the yellow metal reached Rs 319,000 in Pakistan on Wednesday, as the gold rush persisted in both domestic and foreign markets.
Similarly, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold saw an increase of Rs 1,415 and was sold for Rs 273,491.
The price of gold rose by Rs 2,550 per tola on Tuesday, reaching an all-time high of Rs 317,350.
On Wednesday, the global gold exchange rate also rose. According to APGJSA, the pricing increased by $16 during the day to $3,038 per ounce (with a $20 premium).
