24 carat gold’s per tola price dropped by an additional Rs500 on Wednesday, when it was sold for Rs255,500 as opposed to Rs256,000 on the previous trading day.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs429 to Rs219,050 from Rs219,479, while the cost of 10 grams of 22 carat gold dropped to Rs200,795 from Rs201,189.
At Rs2,850 per tola and Rs2,443.41 per gram, respectively, the price of silver stayed unchanged.
According to the Association, the price of gold dropped by $17 to $2,393 from $2,410 on the global market.
