The “first phase” of the Jeffrey Epstein files was made public by US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday.
The majority of the documents made public by the US government were previously known to the public, local journalists reported.
The Attorney General acknowledged in a statement that the records, which were primarily flight logs, had been “previously leaked,” but claimed that the US government had never before made them public “in a formal capacity.”
Everybody who boarded Jeffery Epstein’s plane was listed in his 118-page flight log.
Buckingham Palace, however, was relieved that the revelation did not lead to a new controversy concerning the Duke of York, who had been denied royal rights because of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
