Google Wallet, which offers customers a digital platform to store loyalty cards, boarding passes, and payment cards on their Android devices, has formally launched in Pakistan.
The goal of the tech giant’s service is to improve customer convenience and expedite transactions.
Customers of a number of banks can now link their credit and debit cards to Google Wallet, enabling contactless payments with Android phones and Wear OS devices, according to a statement from Google.
In the upcoming months, more banks are anticipated to be merged. Users will be able to utilize the service to pay at contactless terminals, make purchases online, and transact within apps that accept Google Pay.
In addition to payments, the app facilitates digital storage for retail and travel services.
