In a notification, the ministry of finance said that the government of Pakistan decided to raise consumer prices effective April 1, 2024, based on the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority’s (OGRA) recommendation and as part of the fortnightly modification of petroleum product prices.
It further stated that the government had chosen to reduce the price of diesel by Rs3.32 per litre.
It further stated that starting tonight at 12 p.m. and lasting until April 15, there will be a price hike for petroleum items.
The price of gasoline has increased significantly to Rs289.41 per litre, while the price of HSD is now Rs282.24 per litre, according to the report.
