Adding to the benefits of luxury cars, Punjabi bureaucrats have been approved for opulent mansions despite having a limited budget.
The proposal, which has caused public controversy, calls for building 27 opulent residences at a price tag of more than Rs1.64 billion.
There are plans to build 29 residences, which could result in a price tag that exceeds Rs. 2 billion.
The Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab is responsible for building the opulent homes in DHA Phase 9.
The houses will have offices and water tanks in addition to double-story architecture.
The project must be finished within the allotted one year and nine months.
