ISLAMABAD: A three-day respite for Eid ul-Fitr has been formally proclaimed by the federal government.
The Cabinet Division has announced that the holidays will take place from Monday, March 31, to Wednesday, April 2.
On Sunday night, March 30, 2025 (Ramazan 29, 1446 AH), the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and zonal committees will meet to observe the Shawwal moon, which could signal the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony will host the meeting of the moonsighting commission.
