ISLAMABAD: Ahead of Eid al Fitr, the government held a ceremony on Thursday to give humanitarian aid from Russia to Pakistan’s poor.
Among the 31 tons of aid are clothing, food, medicine, and other essentials. With the active assistance of the Russian Embassy in Pakistan, a special flight of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations brought it to Pakistan, where it was given to the Pakistan Red Crescent Society.
