Parliamentary Secretary for IT Sabreen Ghori announced on Wednesday that the government intends to introduce 5G services in Pakistan by the middle of this year.
Speaking to the National Assembly today, Ghori gave MPs more assurances that by the middle of the year, the nation’s internet speed would have improved even more.
While discussing the general public’s connectivity and speed problems, the IT secretary also stated that “there are several reasons for internet slowdowns” in the nation.
The MPs insisted that internet speeds can occasionally deteriorate. According to PPP’s Agha Rafiullah, “no videos can be downloaded; the internet does not work at all at times.”
PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto was right, according to MPA Shagufta Jumani, when he asked, “Which fish are these that only chew?”
