On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that the current government would not give up until the nation’s polio epidemic is completely eradicated.
Speaking at the occasion in connection with the polio campaign, the prime minister conveyed hope that the disease will soon be eradicated in the nation. “We have officially launched the polio campaign as of today. There will undoubtedly be benefits from these polio campaigns.”
He made it apparent that the national government was committed to working with the local governments to eradicate polio.
“This campaign is being kicked off under the supervision of a highly qualified team,” he said.
