Ordinary Things, a song by Ariana Grande featuring the song “Nonna,” debuted at number 55 on the Hot 100 chart, making her grandmother the oldest artist to ever hold that position.
The 30-year-old singer’s seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, was released in March 2024. The album’s last track, Ordinary Things, which features Nonna in its outro and is a remembrance of her late husband Frank, reached the Billboard Hot 100 list, making the 98-year-old grandmother the first to chart on the list.
Grande celebrated the accomplishment on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself with Marjorie “Nonna” Grande, who was wearing a red turtleneck and a broad smile.
In addition, a crimson plaque featuring her granddaughter’s photograph from her seventh album is shown in the photo, denoting the record-breaking performance.
