Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg goes on trial this Thursday for violating public order in relation to her protest that she staged outside an oil and gas conference in London last year, according to the BBC.
She and other protestors had been demonstrating outside a hotel where representatives of the oil and gas industry were being hosted by the Energy Intelligence Forum.
October 17 was the day she was placed into detention.
After organizing a protest in front of the Swedish parliament in 2018, Thunberg became well-known as a global activist.
The 21-year-old entered a not-guilty plea to a single Public Order Act allegation before Westminster Magistrates Court alongside four other defendants, ages 19 to 59.
