On Wednesday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a “most substantive” discussion, according to Sharif.
The premier discussed his meeting with the Russian prime minister outside of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) when speaking to X (former). “We discussed the entire spectrum of the bilateral ties, with a focus on enhancing trade and economic cooperation,” Prime Minister Shehbaz stated in his statement.
reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing ties between Russia and Pakistan. There was also discussion of regional and worldwide developments, he continued.
He said, “We also decided to keep up our coordination at the UN and SCO multilateral forums.”
Prior to this, PM Shehbaz suggested the adoption of a single currency among the 23rd Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of Government summit in his inaugural speech.
