The Ministry of Religious Affairs on Tuesday extended the deadline for Hajj application submissions till December 10 in order to make things easier for prospective pilgrims.
The prior deadline was December 3rd, which is today.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, stated in a statement that all applications for the Hajj under the government program had been accepted.
“All applications for the Hajj that were submitted between the 18th of the previous month and Tuesday have been approved.”
He added that without a vote, every application submitted under the sponsorship program was accepted. According to the ministry, Pakistanis living abroad must pay the sponsorship cost by this month’s tenth.
179,210 Pakistanis would make the Hajj the next year in accordance with the 2025 Hajj policy.
