Ferguson hopes that the festivities will continue when his Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants, their NFC East opponents, at MetLife Stadium.
In honor of their one-year anniversary, his girlfriend, basketball player Haley Cavinder of the Miami Hurricanes, shared a collage of their images together on Sunday.
The first picture Cavinder shared of the two was taken before a Cowboys game, with the remark, “a year of ferg.”
After Cavinder posted on social media in September while sporting his shirt, the two became apparent. When they revealed their connection to the public, Cavinder said trolls surfaced.
In a YouTube Q&A session with her sister, Haley revealed that when news of her relationship circulated, she got criticism about the way she looked.
“I was enjoying a wonderful day with my mom and Hanna at Forever 21 when I noticed this post. And I’ve only begun to read the remarks regarding my appearance,” Cavinder remarked.
I’m a confident female, but when people are talking negatively about you online, especially if you have a boyfriend, it may be upsetting. same to approaching your features.
