The identities of the latest hostages to be released in Gaza on Saturday in exchange for Israeli-held Palestinian inmates have been made public by Hamas.
Or Levy, 34, Ohad Ben Ami, 56, and Eli Sharabi, 52, are all male civilians.
Since the truce started on January 19, eighteen captives have been released. In exchange, Israel released 383 inmates. According to Hamas, an additional 183 will be released on Saturday.
By the completion of the first phase of the truce in three weeks, about 1,900 inmates and 33 hostages should be released. Eight of the 33 are dead, according to Israel. When Hamas struck Israel on October 7, 2023, it took 251 captives and killed over 1,200 people, which led to the start of the conflict.
