In accordance with the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Hamas has designated four hostages to be freed on Saturday.
Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, and Liri Albag are identified as troops. In return, 180 Palestinian inmates detained in Israel will be released.
Since the ceasefire went into force last Sunday, this will be the second such exchange.
In the initial exchange, 90 inmates and three hostages were freed.
Last year, Dr. Ayelet Levy, whose daughter Naama Levy was kidnapped by Hamas, described her daughter as “a very strong girl” in an interview with the news.
The ceasefire put an end to the conflict, which started on October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked Israel. There were about 1,200 fatalities and 251 hostages returned to Gaza.
