The bodies of four hostages, including the two youngest individuals detained by the Palestinian militant group, will be turned over on Thursday, according to Hamas.
The bodies of the Bibas family, which includes Shiri and her small children Kfir and Ariel, who were abducted by Hamas on October 7, 2023, when they were four years old and nine months old, will be freed, according to the group’s negotiator Khalil al-Hayya.
According to Hamas, Israeli bombing murdered the three. This has not been verified by Israel.
Earlier this month, Hamas freed Yarden, the father of the children.
Hamas will also free six surviving hostages on Saturday, according to Al-Hayya, which is twice as many as was initially anticipated.
Israel will release all jailed women and those under the age of 19 in return.
