LONDON: Afzal Khan MP and other dignitaries handed the Star of Pakistan award to acclaimed actress Hania Aamir at the UK Parliament’s Jubilee Room.
The purpose of the event was to honor and celebrate Aamir’s accomplishments as a global performer, her incredible career, her outstanding performances, and her services to the entertainment sector.
Dr. Sarah Naseem, the wife of Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, as well as a number of notable members of the British Pakistani community and media attended the ceremony, which was hosted by Labour MP Afzal. Afzal lauded Aamir, calling her a significant figure in the arts and cultural field who merits recognition for her skill and modesty.
