Just now, Hannah Waddingham went down memory lane and revealed something rather unusual.
The actress from Game of Thrones discussed her path as an actress on the most recent episode of the BBC series Rule Breakers.
Waddingham said that one of her theater teachers made fun of her appearance in front of the class and that she would never be able to work on screen.
The English actress recalled, “I had one drama teacher that said to the whole class: ‘Oh Hannah will never work on screen because she looks like one side of her face has had a stroke,'” in an interview with presenter Michelle Vissage, according to Daily Mail research.
The 49-year-old celebrity then revealed her resolve by saying, “I thought, ‘I will do.'” “I will work on screen come hell or high water.”
It is important to note that throughout her career, Hannah received multiple acting roles and won awards such as the Screen Actors Guild Award, the Emmy Award, and the Critics Choice Award.
“This is why, in my Emmys speech, I made a point – the one thing I said to myself [was], if this weird moment comes and I get this award, and I get my foot in this door,” the acting sensation continued before wrapping up the confessional. “I’m going to rip it off its hinges for music theatre people, or theatre people, to follow,” she declared before moving on to the next subject.
