DUBAI: Haris Rauf, a Pakistani speedster, has stated that defeating India is the only way to win the Champions Trophy again after Pakistan’s Champions Trophy opener loss to New Zealand put them in a do-or-die situation.
“We have to beat India if we wish to advance in the competition. The right-arm pacer told reporters at the team hotel prior to their first practice at the ICC Academy in Dubai, “This is a do-or-die match for us.”
“The New Zealand match is history,” Rauf added, highlighting the need of taking lessons from past errors.
