Co-star Harrison Ford has undergone a “magical” transformation as he gets older, according to Helen Mirren.
While filming The Mosquito Coast in 1986, Mirren got to know Ford. While the Indiana Jones actor was already a star, the actress claimed that at the time she was a “nobody.”
“He was a huge star and he really didn’t want to be,” she continued. He simply wanted to be a calm individual living his life, which is obviously not possible.
The pair now reprise their role as a couple in the television series 1923. However, Mirren claims that Ford has undergone significant change, most likely as a result of his 2015 near-death experience.
The certified pilot who plays Shrinking had to make an emergency landing at Penmar.
