About 80 students at a private school in Rawalpindi were assaulted by a swarm of honey bees, officials reported News on Monday.
The pupils were stung at the school, which is situated in Kallar Syedan’s Bypass neighborhood, a tehsil in the Rawalpindi region.
Rescue officials stated that the rescue teams were being dispatched to the school and that at least 40 of the 80 pupils in total had been moved to the Kallar Syedan Hospital.
Based on information obtained from hospital sources, all of the students were returned home following their medical care.
According to the school administration, the incident happened during a protest.
“Bees attacked children and teachers,” it continued. “All the children are safe and sent home after receiving medical assistance.”
