At a recent event held at YMCA Hall, notable individuals from various walks of life gathered to honor mothers and nurses.
Director General of Nursing Tahira Sagir was the event’s special guest. Bishop of Lahore Rt Rev Nadeem Kamran presided over the proceedings and gave the nurses Mother’s Day presents and shields of honor. Principal Shaikh Zayed Nursing School, Buhsra Nawaz, Naila Maqbool (Sir Ganga Ram), Madam Rubina (Mayo College of Nursing), and Ghulam Nabi were among the notable attendees on the event.
Prayers for the country, societal unity, and prosperity opened the event celebrating Mother’s Day and the International Day of Nurses. Asghar Suleman, the YMCA President, welcomed the attendees and discussed the organization’s mission.
