In the second season of the ITV drama Trigger Point, the BAFTA-winning actress plays Lana Washington, who is in charge of a group of bomb disposal specialists, or “expos,” who work for the Met Police.
The tension has increased in the penultimate episode, which airs this evening. Lana has had to deal with bombs in car parks, abandoned subway stations, and laptops. She has also witnessed her former detective being pushed down a lift shaft by a woman posing as a firefighter who was investigating the scene, just after their romance had returned.
