For university students in Punjab, the Honahar Scholarship Program registration procedure has officially begun. This program seeks to give scholarships to 30,000 worthy students per year in 68 different fields, making higher education more accessible to gifted people.
Students from 131 graduate schools, 16 medical schools, 50 public universities, and prestigious private universities will all benefit from the initiative.
An estimated 120,000 students will benefit from the scholarships over the course of the next four years, with a total estimated value of Rs130 billion.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stressed at the scholarship announcement that this initiative keeps her pledge to remove financial barriers from the way worthy students can pursue their academic goals.
