In addition to obstructing the connecting roadways, Naran’s landslides have presented significant challenges for both locals and visitors.
The locals are leading the charge in providing assistance to tourists, even if a significant number of them are having difficulty escaping the obstacles.
In an interview with the BBC, Karachi resident Reema Shuaib stated that during their stay in Naran on their way back from Skardu, they discovered that the connecting bridge had been destroyed by the flood. Reema and her family were unable to return to Islamabad as a result.
However, what caught Reema off guard was when the hotel owner said that those who were departing may now stay for free.
