The federal cabinet adopted the Hajj Policy 2025 on Thursday by means of a circulation summary that included important information about the pilgrimage scheduled for next year.
The government-sponsored Hajj package is anticipated to cost between Rs1.75 million and Rs11.75 million, according to official sources.
A quota of 179,000 pilgrims from Pakistan are allowed under the new arrangement, and 89,605 places are distributed equally between the government and private tour companies.
Special quotas are also set aside under the policy for specific groups, such as the 1,000 slots set aside for the hardship category and the 300 slots set aside for low-income employees who are enrolled with the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI).
