I have an addiction to TikTok and Instagram. I haven’t been so consumed with it in a long time that I’ve actually begun to lose sleep over it, which is now having an effect on my physical health. Because I constantly find myself checking my phone in between activities, this habit has also begun to interfere with my work.
I’ve attempted the pomodoro technique, but it hasn’t worked for me either. Despite my best efforts to get to bed early, I always wake up in the middle of the night and reach for my phone on the bedside table. I’ve also attempted to remove the apps for a day or two.
