Even Billie Eilish, one of the biggest names in music, seems vulnerable to being ghosted.
The 22-year-old American artist said that she experienced “a crazy ghosting happen” last year on the podcast Miss Me?, adding, “It was insane.”
For those who are unaware, ghosting is the act of a friend or potential love interest abruptly ceasing all communication with you without giving a reason.
The singer of What Was I Made For also mentioned how difficult it was for her to keep friendships when she first became well-known.
When Eilish released her first single, Ocean Eyes, she was only 14 years old. She quickly rose to fame throughout the world after that and won numerous accolades in the process.
Following the release of her first album, Billie Eilish broke down in tears.
Eilish said to Miquita Oliver and Lily Allen, “I’ve been ghosted for sure.”
The encounter, she added, occurred in December of last year and was “literally unbelievable.” He never texted me again to this day.”
“Did you pass away? I wondered. Did you really pass away? “asked the woman.
“I had planned to meet with this person, who I had known for years; we spoke over the phone the day before, and I told him to meet me at 3 p.m., but I never heard from him again.” At all. It was unbelievable to me.”
