RAWALPINDI: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday, 13 terrorists were killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement from the military’s media wing, the operation was conducted last night in the Sararogha section of the district in response to reports of insurgent activity.
“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij location, as a result of which, thirteen khwarij were sent to hell,” according to the ISPR.
It further claimed that the terrorists who were killed were still actively engaged in a number of terrorist attacks against the security forces and the murder of defenseless citizens.
Pakistani security personnel are committed to eradicate any further Kharji in the area through a sanitization campaign.
