Following the neighboring country’s announcement that it would not be visiting the host country, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has directed the meeting’s participants, including India and Pakistan, to find a solution for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
Officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) attended the important ICC board meeting, which took place digitally and lasted only about 15 minutes, according to sources who spoke to Geo News.
The board instructed the parties to find a solution through “mutual consultation” after the parties presented their ideas for staging the prestigious competition during the meeting.
A solution “acceptable to all” would be found by both cricket boards, the sources claimed.
