KARACHI: On Tuesday, the Karachi Expo Centre hosted the 12th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024).
The exhibition, which was opened by Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister of Defense and Defense Production, will run through Friday, November 22.
The show, which is a mega-regional event organized every two years by Pakistan’s Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), is being visited by over 350 high-level delegations from 55 countries in addition to trade visitors.
Since its founding in 2000, IDEAS has developed into a global gathering place for top-level policymakers, entrepreneurs, R&D specialists, financial experts, and defense manufacturers to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and support projects related to defense cooperation.
It unites the international defense sector for cooperative and synergistic ventures.
