Elba was born in London, but she has a deep connection to Africa because her father is from Sierra Leone and her mother is from Ghana.
He believes it is essential that Africans have the opportunity to share their own experiences, thus he wants to use his celebrity to support its growing film industry.
In an interview conducted on the fringes of an industry gathering in Accra, he stated, “I would definitely consider settling down here; not even consider, it’s going to happen.”
