Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, issued a warning to the federal and Punjab governments on Tuesday, saying that if its founder, Imran Khan, was mistreated in Adiala Jail, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would end its existence nationwide.
The KP CM, who is also the PTI president in KP, made these comments after Khan’s sister Aleema Khan protested about her brother’s imprisoned conditions, including the unclean food that she said made him throw up and the fact that his cell had been without electricity since October 3.
In a video posted on the PTI’s official X account, he said that “the federal and Punjab governments have adopted the worst attitude towards the PTI founder,”
