Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University has been ordered by the Islamabad High Court to administer the MDCAT exam in two weeks. This decision was made during the hearing of an intra-court appeal against a decision made by a single bench concerning the MDCAT’s reexamination.
The hearing was presided over by Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz and Chief Justice Aamer Farooq. The court stressed how crucial it is to make sure the testing procedure is fair. According to a counsel for the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), the single bench had only given students another chance and had not revoked the previous exam.
The lawyer said that the single bench had suggested retaking the exam at the prior cost when the court asked if both results may be provided.
