ISLAMABAD The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday reinstated visiting days for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, allowing people to see him every Tuesday and Thursday. This decision was a comfort to the former prime minister.
Salman Akram Raja, the PTI founder’s coordinator, will only allow anyone to meet him if he provides their identities.
The joint pleas on the former prime minister’s visitation rights were considered by IHC Acting Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar, marking the most recent development in the legal dispute.
Last week, Justice Dogar combined several petitions regarding Khan’s meeting powers to form the three-member panel, which also includes Justices Muhammad Azam Khan and Arbab Muhammad Tahir.
