A restraining order has been obtained by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to prevent the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) from disclosing the MDCAT final merit list.
The ruling was made in response to petitions submitted by students who expressed dissatisfaction with purported test inaccuracies.
The restraining order was issued on Thursday by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, who oversaw the case. The pupils had claimed that 30 of the 200 test questions were wrong. According to the petitioners, entrance to medical colleges will be determined by these MDCAT scores.
Additionally, the students demanded that medical colleges refrain from extending the admissions process any further.
