ISLAMABAD: In a case involving suspected interference in government activities, a notable lawyer and human rights activist named Imaan Mazari and her husband were placed under a three-day physical remand by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday.
After being arrested by Islamabad police a day earlier in a case filed at Aabpara Police Station, the pair was brought before ATC Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain today.
The issue concerns an altercation between the two and traffic police in the federal capital last week when they tried to take down the roadblocks erected for the visiting England team’s traffic procedure.
