Ali Muhammad Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said that Imran Khan, the party’s founder, was hopeful after Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the just finished US presidential election.
Trump’s return, in Imran’s opinion, might lessen the “negativity” toward Pakistan that the former federal minister claims grew during the Biden administration.
Speaking on News’ “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath” program on Wednesday, Ali disclosed that upon learning of Trump’s victory, the party’s imprisoned founder recalled their cordial relationship during his own time as prime minister, drawing a comparison with what he described as meddling and animosity from the Joe Biden-led administration.
