Following the visitation of Adiala Jail by a group of physicians from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), provided an update on the health of the party’s founder, Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated. He stated, “Khan Saab is in good health and had exercised for an hour today.”
Gohar made his remarks after his party decided to postpone its demonstration outside Islamabad’s D-Chowk on the first day of the SCO summit. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had given the party the assurance that a medical team will assess the PTI founder’s condition at the Rawalpindi central jail.
Two physicians, an ENT specialist and a medical specialist, visited Khan at Adiala Jail at 4 p.m. today, according to the PTI chairman.
