ISLAMABAD: According to Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, the leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), President Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), could meet to discuss concerns when the time is right.
After meeting with the PTI negotiation committee, Ashraf told reporters Thursday that the present climate within the committee is favorable.
He disclosed that although the PTI has not made its demands publicly, it has called for the release of workers and the establishment of a judicial panel to look into the incidents of May 9 and November 26.
He stated that PTI officials have also asked for more time to speak with their party’s leadership.
