A supplemental challan in the money laundering case against Chaudhry Moonis Elahi has been filed in court by FIA Lahore.
The source claims that the foundation for the challan is one billion rupees, donated by Farasat Ali Chatta. Monis Elahi is the subject of an investigation by the Money Laundering Circle (FIA).
The FIA claims that Moonis Elahi’s cash rider and frontman, Aamir Sohail, was involved in millions of rupee-worth of corruption with MNA Chaudhry Monis Elahi. Even though Interpol had previously issued a red order for Chaudhry Moonis Elahi’s arrest, Moonis Elahi has not shown up after receiving three call-up letters.
