According to Ms. Garcia, my son was mistreated and exploited by a risky AI chatbot program designed for kids, which ultimately led him to commit suicide.
Sewell started conversing with Character.According to the lawsuit, AI’s chatbots in April 2023 mostly used bots named after Game of Thrones characters, such as Daenerys Targaryen, Aegon Targaryen, Viserys Targaryen, and Rhaenyra Targaryen.
His phone was seized when he became so fixated on the bots that his academic performance suffered.
He wrote in his journal that he was thankful for many things, including his life, sex, not being lonely, and all of his experiences with Daenerys. He especially connected with the Daenerys chatbot.
