For those unfamiliar, Jennifer Lopez’s latest documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, delves into the hidden sides of the multihyphenate’s self-love journey, which spans over two decades.
Nonetheless, her ‘kind and caring’ husband, Ben Affleck, reportedly objected to her age being shown in the personal documentary, which is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime.
During the documentary, as the 54-year-old singer recited her ideas for her latest endeavors, Ben Affleck made fun of the age specified in their scripts.
“Opening her eyes in a hospital bed, younger, age 28, and she wasn’t emaciated, but exhausted,” Jennifer stated somberly.
Ben Affleck interrupted his wife, saying, “Technically, you weren’t 28, but…”
Jennifer responded to this conversation, “Yep. All her friends are. But you were. You were. That’s why you were not as smart as me.”
Ben also responded by joking, “I love that you want to be played younger, even in the autobiographical.”
“This is not my autobiography. This is meta. “This is me using some of my story,” the singer insisted.
The actor added, “I see. Semi-autobiographical. “It’s your story, but younger.”
Jennifer Lopez ended their charming dispute by calling her husband a “idiot” and moving on to a new topic.
