LONDON: According to court documents, the London High Court has declared Hasan Nawaz Sharif, the son of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, bankrupt.
According to News, the UK government’s tax and revenue department has declared Hasan bankrupt in a tax and obligation lawsuit.
Details of the bankruptcy have been made public by the official UK Gazette, which maintains the public record. It states that Hasan, the director of the firm and a resident of Flat 17 Avenfield House, 118 Park Lane, was declared bankrupt by the High Court of Justice in case No. 694 of 2023, which was filed on August 25, 2023. On April 29, 2024, a bankruptcy order was issued in response to a complaint made by the creditors for nonpayment.
