As the anniversary of their painful divorce, which occurred barely 14 months after they were married, approaches, Britney Spears posted a video with her ex-husband Sam Asghari.
The Toxic singer discussed her past relationships, self-protection from her mistakes, and reflections on love and loss in the subtitles of the since-deleted video.
A shirtless Asghari was seen dancing with the pop star in the video. She started writing, “The time he picked me up,” in the video’s caption.
“It’s strange because no matter what path you take with someone, relationships with friends, family, or loved ones always take strange turns!!!” Spears continued. “It’s difficult to look back sometimes, but it’s really important. In most cases, I think I’m overly sensitive.””I talk about my past sometimes because I want to protect myself from making the same mistakes as before,” she continued. When I’m feeling too much, I generally shut down, but occasionally I lose all ability to understand what’s going on or how I’m feeling at all.
